The mild, nutty red lentil variety for the quick organic kitchen. They don't need to be soaked before cooking and are ready in just 5-10 minutes. For soups, sauces, spreads, Indian dishes and burgers.
No soaking necessary. Wash the lentils, boil 1 cup of red lentils with about 2 cups of fresh water once and then simmer gently for about 5 minutes at low temperature with the lid closed. Do not add salt until cooked.
